Just imagine the original trilogies without Harrison Ford as Han Solo. They’re solid but not great performance and plot. With Harrison Ford, we agree they’re top tier. But Andor kicks ass on all fronts.
I like that analogy. I was a Luke Skywalker fan as a kid, but I can agree as an adult his acting was a bit over the top. Later in life, I liked Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan. Chill old dude who just wanted to be left alone. He really does have a small role in the original, but it’s so important to that film, he seems bigger.
