Yep that’s right, orgies and sex parties are notorious for diseases.

    I mean, yeah?

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4714774/ (Increased levels of Gonorrhea in certain models of MSM)

https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/s12879-021-05813-5 (Increased odds of STIs in cis/bi swingers)

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3410442/ (Higher odds of transmission in an orgy, and that’s just based on self reporting - actual transmission numbers are higher)

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/06/100623212635.htm (Much higher increased rates of STIs among elderly swinger/group sex communities)

These are just some statistics proving that, even though basic damn logic and math would normally lead a person of basic levels of intelligence to conclude that the logistics of such events would increase the odds of STIs spreading; much like a person with the flu sneezing in a plane, even with a mask, is more likely to infect others than 2 people in an open field - but I understand providing empirical data is important still.

Note that none of these events involved anywhere close to a 1001 people in a single day. Which means the odds would be much higher with that many people in involved, as screening that many people fully would be both expensive and more difficult to do in an organized manner, and the odds of a condom slip or other protective measure failing would only go up.

But by all means, do keep talking and showing everyone your magnificent grasp on basic statistical logic.
