Controversy-tarred congressional candidate Maureen Galindo this week pledged to transform a site south of San Antonio now used by the Trump administration to detain migrants into an internment camp for “American Zionists.”

“She’ll turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE officers for human trafficking,” Galindo wrote in an Instagram post over the weekend, referring to herself in the third person. “It will also be a castration processing center for pedophiles, which will probably be most of the Zionists.”

Galindo maintained she only has an issue with zionists, or those advocating for the existence of a Jewish state in their ancestral homeland, rather than Jews in general.

“I think it’s actually the zionists who are putting Jewish people at the most risk,” Galindo told the Current last week.

Alright folks, I’m gonna put my money where my mouth is and illegally immigrate to Epsteinland and vote for her a couple dozen times. Gonna take someone’s job and eat a dog while I’m at it. Wish me luck.

I mean, she ain’t wrong, and like others said zios deserve worse, but I think we should abolish the camps as they are altogether. Build our own reeducation centers but no way I really want to use the framework designed to torture people & children. That kinda is zionazi shit.

Like I get it but establishment dems r always saying stupid inflammatory shit that they don’t mean, 100% bet if she won she’d be acting like AOC in under 5 years. Just arrest Netanyahu already n give him the sleepy shot 💉on live TV

Way too many of y’all are excited about the idea of concentration camps. It doesn’t matter if they’re your political enemies, concentration camps are bad.

Over the last three years I’ve seen the most depraved carnage imaginable at the hands of the most gleefully inhuman humans imaginable. I want them gone forever and I dont care how it happens. And if you’re gonna say “oh that sounds like what they say about Palestinians, isn’t it ironic, doesn’t it make you think” yeah that’s the whole point, that’s the golden rule, they should be treated like the monsters they treat others as. When they dehumanized others, they dehumanized themselves. This goes beyond what we are taught to think of as “political”: they are my existential enemies, as are all fascists, because they consider us all animals to be killed.

Let me quickly replace the word “Zionist” with “Nazi” to check how it sounds

“Put all Nazis in internment camps”

Yeah man, that’s like one of the biggest problems with Nazis. We really just shouldn’t be putting anyone in internment camps. If you wanna fight Nazis, fight Nazis. Slavery is not really ever a reasonable response.

Stalin sent Nazis to the Gulags. The West kept Nazis in their political system. One of them still has a Nazi problem.

Now I agree that sending every single person who supports the existence of the Apartheid to an internment camp would be a bit impractical, but I don’t mind some prominent Zionists going to jail for a decade or two.

It’s not impractical, it’s barbaric. We have legal systems for a reason. The court systems may have issues, but that doesn’t mean the solution is rounding people up into slavery. Just because Stalin did it doesn’t make it right, that’s a stupid justification.

I don’t support throwing people without due process into some kind of confinement. But I do support genocide enablers getting prosecuted and thrown in prison.

I haven’t looked too deeply into her, but from what I can tell the phrasing she uses and how she sometimes frames things isn’t the best. But I would definitely disagree with those (AOC, for one) who are slandering her as an antisemite.
