I love this yt channel so much.
What I can’t get over is how settler-brained these communities still are after hundreds of years. Like, you haven’t yet figured out that these trees that are native to areas thousands of kilometres away are just going to fucking die, as they always have every single time you plant them? How do you still not know this? It’s literally been centuries since your colonial ancestors landed here.
It reminds me of Pissrael and how they keep trying to plant European trees in the fucking Levant and they keep catching fire and dying of dehydration because they’re not supposed to be there. But the settlers seem to be literally incapable of understanding that because all they want to do is force the land and climate to adapt to them rather than adapting to material reality themselves.
