because “hey can you, like, not genocide people?” is too much to ask for, apparently

    tankies

i believe you severely overestimate the influence some annoying internet communists have on politics

If you think the anti-genocide bloc swung the election then you either need to concede to their demands or accept your genocidal candidates will never win again.

“The voters need to get over it and vote for me” is the dumbest possible electoral strategy. Unless of course your support for israel is worth putting ahead of any other policy.

“The voters need to get over it and vote for me.” is exactly the attitude to have when the other guy is Donald Trump and he’s holding minorities hostage

So you think it was more important to support israel’s genocide than to win the election. interesting.

Nobody really gives a fuck about Israel or Palestine. Those two groups of people, with vatious names, have basically been fighting over their stupid holy land for all time.

Not to mention, if both candidates are supporting Israeli genocide, then at least pick the one that isn’t also a colossally unqualified hate monger. Because at the end of the day, again, some stupid endless holy war country doesn’t matter, next to home, and everywhere else in the world’s safety.

                This.

I don’t know why Tankies thought a temper tantrum was more important than minorities. Because it’s not like Trump is an ally of Palestine.

Trump was actively against Palestine. The worst for Harris was she was wishy washy about it and not really “supporting” or condemning any side.

Because, surprise, its a complex issue, that has been going on for a while.

              No much the opposite.

Both candidates were Pro-Israel. I just wanted the one that wasn’t after trans people.

Palestine is already doomed. It is best to help the people who can still be helped before Trump has us put in camps.

Yes, this group of people who you’re trying to get to vote for you…have you tried offering them the thing that they want? Wild stuff!

I hate Israel too, but America isn’t going to stop sucking up to them no matter what you do. It’s impossible. Saving Palestine is a lost cause, the best you can do is save those who can still be saved.

That’s fatalism. Instead of saying “It can’t be done”, you should be asking “How can it be done?”

No I’m being realistic. Any politician who suggests Israel is anything less than perfect is labeled an anti-semite and black listed from Washington.

Israel owns this country and there’s nothing we can do about it.

I really wish we could disband AIPAC and stand up and send a message saying “No it’s not anti-semetic to be against child murder.”

But we live in a climate where even suggesting Israel isn’t a utopia rightfully ruled by the best of the best makes you a Neo Nazi. You’d have better luck getting Texas to abolish Capital Punishment or Kansas to give transpeople their IDs back… which are both goals we should focus on because unlike challenging Israel they are possible.

I am not an apologist for Israel. I fucking hate them and see Nethanyu as the Modern Day Hitler… but there’s nothing we can do about them.
