It’s not just one video. You clearly haven’t seen any of his recent work. Maybe looking into his unfavorable views and coverage of Orban and Putin could help. And the part where he has talked about his disillusionment with the far right plus advocating against misleading extremist content designed to radicalize people.
I don’t think he holds those views, maybe he did at one point. But he’s allowed to change his opinions and hold new beliefs. And I’m definitely not ignorant to the struggles of Irish independence and identity.
I guess I’ll have to find a dictionary to give you an actual definition. How is what I described not similar to “writing characterized by a direct presentation of facts or descriptions of events without an attempt at interpretation.” Or “writing to appeal to current popular taste or public interest.” With the second definition even something so stupid as “The Sun” tabloid crap is journalism. I used the term dissemination because the medium of journalism doesn’t matter, more the fact that it is designed to reach an audience. Even regurgitating pretty much the same thing as someone else is journalism. So it’s a much better argument from you to describe it as lazy or effortless journalism. I’d also implore you to watch his coverage of Kherson, where he was at risk of Russians attacking him with drones. Interviewing locals who still live there and soldiers working to keep their citizens safe.
