I let the kids watch Terminator 2 so I could be the ‘cool parent’ that let his kids do that. But after this week I felt like I had to tell their centre what they watched because one of my kids keeps going on about how there’s a good robot and a bad robot made out of liquid.
We went into the city on Saturday and I took the kids around whilst the girlfriend went to a market. We mostly rode the free tram that tells you a history of the city.
Then on Sunday we took the kids to a trampoline play centre. They’ve been making good progress on toilet training and we’ve run out of prizes to give them, so we’re moving to more experiential prizes instead of toys. They had fun, but they were that kind of tired when we got home they were just acting up so much. It’s exhausting to deal with them when they’re like that. Too early to sleep, not tired enough to pass out.
