It’s not the starting point, it’s after a transition past the capitalist mode of production into a new economic paradigm. It is after the wealthy elite are overthrown in what would likely be a war between the global proletariat and the rich. History of society is a progressive journey between different economic systems. We used to be hunter-gatherers, then developed agriculture, consolidated factories, and now we can move to a new step.
