It drives me insane when I talk to local people and they treat AI like a super intelligence instead of a word prediction T9word bot that ate every fanfic from Reddit and promises that it loves you.
Because all of these “AI-takeover soon” and “AI will make everybody unemployed” articles are either written by idiots or with the express purpose to hype up the AI stocks and bubble. Don’t you want to own piece of the pie that will be the economy when everybody is unemployed and the economy is just robots and AI?
You’d have to actually create a super intelligence first, before it can go rogue. We do not have anything remotely close to that right now.
