Apple trying to partner with a company on the Pentagon’s blacklist is a massive political and reputational risk, especially considering the administration’s America First strategy.

There’s nothing wrong with using Chinese RAM in products; Trump’s uncompetitive tariffs and company blacklisting doesn’t pose a reputational risk to companies that are able to use their components (if a way around such blacklisting can be found).
