Seriously. FUCK YOU. The fact that its 2023 and I can’t watch whichever game I want, and give you money to do so, without having to buy some outdated archiac satellite provider or some overpriced bloated NFL package is insane. We should be able to buy any game a la carte for 9.99. But instead, once again, I’m just going to pirate any game that I want to watch that isn’t being broadcast locally. Fuck You.

The MLS really got this right with their AppleTV deal. 80 bucks and I can watch any game any time.

It’s the biggest reason I’ve never gotten invested in traditional sports.

I’m not paying $100/year for something I’m barely interested in to not even be able to watch the games I want.

I just watch League of Legends. I can actually play the game, and it’s free to watch with no blackouts.

I actually started messing around, for the first time, with iptv today. It was a little confusing at first, and a bit hard to navigate so not sure I’ll pony up and buy a sub yet. There’s a ton of free sites to stream just about any tv series or movie, and there’s plenty of sports streaming sites (although they are far from problem free), so I dunno yet…

Antenna for local team and fuck everything else. I happen to have access to a Prime membership so I’ll watch those Thursday games too, but if I didn’t, oh well.

YT TV wasn’t worth paying for the majority of the year. Having to play musical streaming services for the various sports leagues is extremely tiresome as well.

Try being a premier league fan. Where they’re not allowed to show any 3pm kick offs on a Saturday afternoon…when the majority play.

I REALLY want to get into watching football, but it’s so cost prohibitive. Can’t afford to watch on TV and definitely can’t afford to go see a single game in person

The cost from viewing games, to merchandise, to tickets is absolutely absurd. And the fact that tax payers shelter a good chunk if not most of the burden when stadiums are built is ridiculous. And these assholes still just can’t make their games easily and readily available is just the icing on top of the greedy billionare cake.

Football is free to watch though if you know where to go. I’m sure anyone here would happily dm you a link if you wanted one. I sure would. Do you not like the quality of the free streams?

I gave up watching the NFL. It just wasn’t fun. Plus, I wasn’t forced into the ridiculous fantasy league that I didn’t even like.

I feel like I’m aware of most of the streams. But they are still laden with issues. Whether its buffering, or forced take downs, or less than 4k resolution. I watched my team earlier, and it wasn’t horrible- think I only had to switch streams once and the buffering was mostly a non-issue. But I’d still rather pay ten bucks or so for the best quality and have zero issues. That’s why the NFL can go fuck itself.

Hey, I agree. Make it affordable and accessible and people will pay for it. However, that’s not the case so we are forced to find alternatives
