Hi everyone, [mini GB] Pastry Symphony artisan keycaps

Pastry Symphony is our new handmade artisan keycap collection, a little orchestra of tarts, cupcakes, and **éclairs **cast entirely by hand in resin. This time the set plays in two sizes: **1u **caps for the pastries, and larger 2.25u caps (Enter / Left-Shift) for the long, glossy éclairs, with support for both MX and Topre switches.

Every piece is colored one gentle layer at a time, so no two are ever quite alike. This is a mini group buy, open for just 48 hours and closing on July 5th, with delivery within 40 working days after it closes. Bring one home and let your keyboard hum a sweeter tune. Link in the first comment.

Honest question. What do people who are into artisan keycaps like about them, exactly? These are certainly works of art, but in my mind, they would look out of place on my keyboard.

Some do standalone display. Some build the keyboard around the cap as a concept. Some just mish mosh it up. Some try to get a bunch of them from the same series for a more uniform keyboard layout.

Basically all kinds of things. I’ve got a couple, mostly they sit in a case and cover, when I feel like one I may switch out my keycaps. I won’t buy something without a specific layout in mind, personally, but different strokes for different folks.
