Modern Russians aren’t Soviets. They are cut throat Capitalists. I don’t know why you are conflating the two? Regardless the evidence of war profiteering is there for all to see in the files. You can support this if you like. Stink of MAGA off it though.

The Russian Federation is capitalist, yes. They are not imperialist, and in fact according to you are fighting imperialists. Taking issue with war profiteering is a moral argument that distracts from the reality that Russian involvement, according to you, is undermining the US’s position in Africa and therefore playing a positive role.

I never equated the RF to the soviets, I said your “both sides” argument is equivalent to claiming “both sides” of any conflict are equally bad. I used World War II as an example, just as I also used the war for Palestinian statehood as an example.

No idea why you’re bringing MAGA into this.

I already outlined why Russian’s aren’t fighting imperialism and are instead engaging in endless war profiteering hand in hand with their American counterparts.

You admitted that Russia isn’t imperialist. You also admitted that Russia is fighting the US, who we both agree is an imperialist power, using their military force to subjugate the global south. Russia acting as a mercenary force for African nations against the US Empire is self-interested, sure, but it’s also anti-imperialism. Russia is not subjugating the global south. There’s nothing inherently wrong with profiting off of anti-imperialism.

When a non-imperialist country is fighting an imperialist country, in the global south no less, how is this not weakening the imperialist position? Further, why are you using working class as a pejorative? This is similar rhetoric to Orwell, who thought the working classes were too stupid to think for themselves and was thus promoted in western education.

I literally just explained that they are working together to extract as much as possible from the working classes through endless war profiteering. It’s not complicated. Step 1) Collect taxes and sell bonds. 2) Start bullshit war. 3) Use tax and bond proceeds to buy weapons from the businesses you own. 4) Profit and repeat. … end result is tax payers are shafted and oligarchs are wealthier than ever. What don’t you understand?

China is fighting US imperialism. They are doing it at home mostly through economic and industrial policy. You see the difference?

Hahaha you’re gonna talk yourself out of ever participating in anything with an attitude like that. That’s a good way to stay home and miss the revolution because you think everyone doing it is an idiot except you.
