  • You can now translate comments! In the context menu, tap “more” and then “translate”.
  • You can now enable/disable notifications for individual posts and comments on PieFed

  • Fixed text editor being cut off when comment editor opened
  • Fixed buttons in image viewer having poor contrast on light-colored images
  • Fixed comments not expanding when tapped if “Tap to Collapse” was off
  • Fixed app crashing when “save” or “share” tapped in “create image” sheet
  • Fixed occasional 404 error spam
  • Fixed page slide-in animation “jumping” when opening a post/comment from a link
  • Fixed not_a_mod_or_admin error when opening Inbox
  • Fixed too many parents being shown when viewing a comment
  • Fixed “My instance” label being incorrect in share sheet instance picker
  • Updated some corner radii in Settings to better match iOS 26
  • The favourites list is now ordered alphabetically, rather than randomly
  • Fixed cake day icon sometimes showing on the wrong day
  • Removed extraneous Optional(...) text from error readouts

    Upvotes seem to be not collected app side, but server side they’ve registered. The issue didn’t start until this update, anyone else seeing it?

    For me, with the new build, I have issues with loading federated content (posts/communities in the side bar) from other instances. Also very slow loading of post thumbnails in the post list view. Reverted back to 813 and working fine again.

        I was only able to see communities from my feddit.org home instance in the side bar, but e.g. not this community on .ml. At first I thought it was an issue with my instance, however after reinstalling the older version it instantly reappeared. Both on iPhone 15 Pro. As well on my iPad Air M2.
