I went with xfce because it said it was lighter weight. Switching to cinnamon is easy enough, I only have steam installed so far.

I am downloading Mint xfce currently, was to see how that runs and if it goes well do cinnamon. The laptop has an M.2 SSD, unsure of the capacity, but I am going to guess 512gb.

I have Mint xfce downloading already. I figure I would live boot that and let her get a feel for it. Then try Cinnamon or another distro.

I ordered a k1 max from keychron today. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but it looks to be a good board. This one looks interesting. I have used ergo boards but never a split board.

The water content would cause issues too, as would the sugary syrup.

Some sites return wireless keyboards even when specifically searching Bluetooth.

Is there any plans to change how Mlem handles links to Instagram? This post takes up almost 3 screens in height.

I like those! I may replace my main keyboard with one of those too.

I have the k480 which I like for typing and such, but for gaming I find it too small. It looks to be similar to your 380 but the 480 has a slot to hold a tablet or phone.

I do like hearing the 380 has a case though.

I was looking at the Logitech mx keys s, but it is $130. At that point I would probably go with a gaming keyboard.

The problem I have run into is the keyboards I am finding are either wireless with dongle, or very small TV keyboards.

The outage prompted me to finally register an account here. Reading the admins comments regarding the situation solidified the decision. That also allowed me to create the !foraging@slrpnk.net community, thank you for advertising it for us.
