      I appreciate the effort, but USA Today is owned by Tegna, Inc., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexstar Media Group, which is every bit as shitty as Paramount-Skydance and just as much in bed with Trump and co.

        Didn’t realize that; intentionally avoided the NewsNation article because it’s also owned by Nexstar.

        In any case, clearly this news story is being promoted primarily by right-wing outlets as an alternative to reporting on the administration’s many faults.

          No worries; it’s hard to keep up because they intentionally obscure their ownership structures. And yeah, agreed, this was released for no reason other than to distract from the million shitshows currently being being pinched out by Trump and co.

          Now that I think on it, checking whether an outlet is covering UFO file dumps is probably a decent test for how deep in the fashhole the outlet is.
