      The first one was a pinky promise from the dude that hasn’t had a complete thought in decades, and didn’t even consult the production/patent holders whatsoever before blurting out his dementia riddled brain. I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one.

        There’s a good chance he goes back on it, but for now it stands, and SAMP/T does largely the same job anyway.

          I don’t even think it’s his to go back or forward on, they may agree just to kiss the ring, but those missiles are incredibly expensive and building an oversees competitor is not in their interests without a shit load of money changing hands.

          I’m glad france seems to be stepping up though, this war has been on its way out for a long fucking time and I hope this pushes that through.

    Awesome news. Ukraine building up a nice stockpile for defence is vital now and in the future.

    A little off topic:

    Would other countries purchasing SAMP-T NG be allowed to produce its missiles at home in the future? Asking for a friend… ;)
