fun storytime:
back in rural maine when we were like 10 we lived in a little studio apartment above a bar and the fire station was right next to us. we were given an assignment in school to like write about the local services (think water, snow plows, etc.) or something of the like, with part of the assignment being to get photos.
so we just like walked over to the fire station and explained the situation and they were INCREDIBLY awesome and let us sit in the cab and look under it at the engine and stuff of a couple of their vehicles, it was like so SO cool. it being a very small “town” we even got to drive one of the ambulances around a little!!! (sadly the fire engines were deemed too big)
Thats so cool!
Don’t stop me now.
He really put the firemen under pressure to let him go onto the fire truck.
He said Now I’m here I may as well Play the game. After all, who wants to live forever?
Dude’s thoughts after he got allowed into the firetruck:
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
There’s people caught in a landslide…
A straight up catastrophy…
I was a volunteer firefighter for a few years, and I can say that firefighters love showing off their engines and trucks (engines have lots of hose, trucks have lots of ladders). If you’re interested, walk on over and introduce yourself. Chances are good that they would love to show you around.
It worked because of the mustache.
Yeah, the firefighters were like “clearly he’s one of us and just hasn’t awakened yet”
Game respects game
Nice try but we all know it’s Freddie Mercury
Firefighters need entertainment from time to time. Go say hi
Don’t forget to pickup an application while you’re there! Get a doctor’s note and they’ll hand you gear and a pager so you know when there’s a fire.
I started running volunteer fire a few years ago and it’s totally worth it.
Thank you for your service!

I want to ride a fire truck, I want to fight fires.
