Under a new policy the administration is defending in court, low-income people with cancer, HIV, Parkinson's, and other life-threatening illnesses must prove they're too sick to work or risk losing their health insurance.

“One of the most significant factors in whether someone survives a cancer diagnosis is whether they have health insurance coverage,” Lisa Lacasse, president of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network.

What a ridiculously brutal and stupid country.

Terminally ill patients are often on a regular regimen of narcotics and benzos. Being terminally ill can be a painful process. In addition to the anxiety of feeling your own death approaching.

So they want folks on drugs, possibly too weak to stand, at work.

Checks out, for the Republican Party.

Tell him to get off his lazy ass and go do the work the illegals are leaving undone, he probably wanted to do roofing in 110°F for $15/hr anyway.
