Palantir Technologies Canada Inc. was registered as a lobbyist in B.C. as recently as June. Elsewhere in the world, Palantir’s health-care contracts are coming under fire.

The Canadian arm of controversial U.S. data mining company Palantir was until recently registered to lobby B.C. health authorities.

B.C’s lobbying registry, and the IJF’s lobbying database show Palantir Technologies Canada Inc. was registered as a lobbyist in B.C., seeking contact with provincial and regional health authorities, Ministry of Health and B.C. Hydro. The registrations have been active on and off since 2021, with the latest ending in June.
