Currently writing a RWBY fanfic off and on. Would like to post it up somewhere but I don’t know if it’d be weird/allowed to post it here.

I don’t think writing tends to get much interaction on social media sites (or like, just in general given the sheer breadth of written word on sites dedicated to this type of stuff) but it would be nice to see varied content in this community. I myself wouldn’t have across what I’ve gathered are “THE SACRED TEXTS!” of RWBY fanfiction (Remnant’s Reclaimer) if it weren’t for someone talking about it in the r/RWBY weekly fanfic thread.
Huh, I didn’t realize there was a holy grail of RWBY fanfiction. Interesting. I’ve seen that there’s a channel on YT also doing RWBY fanfiction but like fully animated I think? I haven’t actually watched any of their content though.
I’ll go ahead and cross-post it here, and if people hate it then I’ll stop but keep writing it. Like I said, I can’t promise it’s particularly good.
You’re also not wrong about how little interaction and attention writing gets. It’s quite depressing as a hobbyist author.
IMO you should post it on AO3 and just link it here.
