9/11sona
A Canadian teacher crying at the thought of her students being born after 9/11 is peak millennial existence
People really did lose all their marbles over the spectacle didn’t they?
I remember a girl came to school with flag face paint and was like sobbing uncontrollably hugging her friends, it was super uncomfortable.
when Goliath was slain I bet the Philistines completely lost their shit
Two Philistine soyjacks pointing at a literal giant of a man sprawled dead on the floor
I doubt it people in the bronze/iron age were used to people dying violently. Goliath was a soldier who agreed to a fight to the death it’s an occupational hazard
i taught 9/11 to history students who weren’t old enough to remember it. i put together a reader of pre-attack context, and OBL’s letter to the american people. oh and we watched that one video of the cranky new yorker in one of the towers talking to emergency personnel up until the building collapsed, cuz you know, the human element and it makes me sad.
by comparison, on the day bin laden was killed, i had a coworker who cancelled all lessons for the day, dressed in flag apparel, and just did patriotic riffing for every period.
Good post but save the punchline for the end rather than the title next time.
Even though it’s the title those last words still hit like freight train.
Canadians recognize that they’re a cultural colony of the United States challenge.
Back in 2018 I was a TA and had to explain to a group of 9-10 year olds that 9/11 was a real event that actually happened, not just a meme.
I feel like this is true for all the americans here
Does that mean that this video is actually accurate?
