A new Meta patent published Thursday says a system, like its AI glasses, would use facial recognition to identify people, create a series of video clips, then provide you with a highlight reel of your night.

    I’m not attending any shindig where anyone is wearing these privacy invading glasses. And if I’m hosting I’m kicking them out.

    What I don’t get, is people keep saying how dangerous this is for women, knowing our government doesn’t give a shit about women.

    We need to get the rightwing voters pissed over these, talk about how pedos are going to be following their kids around all day with these.

    Get em to start confronting people in glasses demanding to see if theyre recording. They’ll be false positives of course, but that’s why we need to stop saying “meta glasses”.

    Oakley partners with them, call them “Oakley cameras” or something, make the pushback hurt any large brand that partners with them. People will be unwilling to buy any Oakley’s, because idiots will confront them to see if it’s a camera.

    That’s how we beat this shit, facts and logic ain’t going to work, the idiots are already being manipulated and it’s easier to manipulate them some more than explain real concerns.
