This was sadly the worst option, but I guess the least controversial one.
Debian is already short staffed with maintainers to do quality code review for contributions, and taking away their option to blanket refuse reviewing slop will increase their workload and inevitably lead to more poorly written slop making it into the codebase.
“Responsible” LLM use is a silly fig leaf that people use to bullshit themselves and others.
Skill issue I guess. Our program is getting more done than ever for about $50/mo per user. 🤷
