I expect we’ll see robotic kitchens operated by remote workers before we see automated ones.
i think this is ideal to replace fast food places, you will not see a completely automated michelin 5 star restaurant. i don’t think the point is to cook everything with robots, but to automate the boring shit.

China already use a lot of bots, maybe more and more advanced than any other countries, they have even a robot army, police bots and a lot of bots in restaurants and bars, even in particular homes, Easy to buy with prices between $10.000-15.000

So once you’ve tried everything on the menu, there’s no reason to ever come back.
Unless you want something you know you’ll like.
What I like is to be pleasantly surprised, which requires leaving a degree of freedom to the chef.
Making sure you can do things reliably and repeatedly is a prerequisite for experimenting and adding variation.
