Please bring them to the UK roads I’m so desperate for a little box on wheels please please the Super N isn’t boxy enough (this is not sarcasm I really do like boxy kei cars and Japanese imports are too much faff and cost an arm and a leg to insure).
I wonder what that thing weights. I have a kei van (Dayz rooks) with about the same form and I get blown all over the place on the highway with wind. Scarily so at times. I imagine that would be heavier due to batteries. I think the law allows them to weigh more than normal kei vehicles as a result, but I don’t know by how much.
He mentioned a 400-something kilogram battery pack that is basically the floor of the van, plus high strength steel and motors, it probably weight a little more than a typical gas powered van, but the weight being down low probably helps it feel more stable.
I have Mitsubishi Minicab-MiEV, it weighs about 1T, and is very stable even in high winds, is the battery plus light commercial tyres that really help!
