      Yeah it’s pretty much a meme at this point that Bethesda games are unplayable at launch. Presumably the next step is adding AI slop into the mix or something like that.

        I played Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Starfield at or very shortly after launch. You are exaggerating to a ridiculous degree. None of them were even remotely unplayable - and there has also been a significant increase in quality with each title. Each of them was more stable and had fewer glitches and game-breaking bugs than the previous title at launch.

      This was my first thought. If what we’ve been getting out of Bethesda is the good stuff, I’m afraid for what comes next.

        Evolution. If you can’t keep up, you die out. Maybe this isn’t the worst case scenario.
