"It never made any sense": Bethesda staff hit by Xbox cuts thought the Skyrim and Fallout link would protect them, and say the studio's future RPGs will suffer.
Elder Scrolls and Fallout games have been buggy messes since forever, but that doesn’t mean the games didn’t have positive qualities. Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout 3/New Vegas were technical dogs, but we waded through the bugs because the underlying games were great.
I mean yeah, but that was well over a decade ago. Since then we had fallout 4 (not bad imo), fallout 76, 91 Skyrim remakes and Star Field (we don’t talk about those). Whatever magic that studio once had has been fading long ago.
Do we clap?
I’m sorry but Bethesda and quality don’t belong in the same sentence unless there is another word in that as well. Such as “lack”

Well over a decade ago if you’re reaching all the way back to Morrowind and Oblivion. I’m pretty sure Oblivion was an Xbox 360 launch title.
