Not really. It’s something that’s been around for a very long time and popularity has only wained as time goes on and people find other ways to host their content. It’s really not a threat to any corpos, as much as I wish it was.
Netflix has been listing piracy as their biggest competition for a couple of years now.
It is the threat to corpos we think it is. They are using and bending the legal system rather than treating it as actual competition. Which is a direct threat to our freedom.
No one was talking about piracy. None of this has anything to do with piracy.
I cannot believe this argument. I’d like to see the numbers. I bet sell hosting is a drop in the ocean.

It’s weird to start with “I cannot believe this argument” when you agree with someone but you do you.
Reads fine to me; I think it’s a European thing. Imagine they said “I know, right?” at the beginning, and the structure makes a lot more sense.
