So, no more breaking changes on each and every minor releases?
No more plugins that didn’t get an update in the last week stopping to work?
What are you going to do with all that free time?
I never used Neovim for anything more than editing config files so…I didn’t realize that it even broke. ROFL Now that I am learning to code, I might use Vim for more than just config edits.
I’ve been using neovim for many languages for years and I’ve never had a “breaking change”. Use it just about everyday.
It’s the cryptofascist that ultimately leaves a very sour taste in my mouth, having looked at that playlist. I get the major ick, it’s honestly a shame because I liked Neovim. In the trash it goes for me. Otherwise, if that maintainer weren’t present, I would happily use Neovim. As it is rock solid (didn’t break to my knowledge). Thankfully open source is like a banquet that provides a feast of choice!
