Court filings from the battle between GTA 6 studio Rockstar and fired workers have revealed how Rockstar accessed a Discord server set up by union organisers.

Now I’m not endorsing violence against that person if they’re found out, I’m just saying I wouldn’t be too upset if someone else was.

    i’m lucky enough to be in a union now, but i’ve lived most of my life in extremely union hostile territory. when attending my current union meetings and they take a few basic steps to maintain some opsec during executive sessions, some people act like it’s silly and i’m just astonished how sheltered some people can be in A.D. 2026 america.

      Anything else would have also been infiltrated so not hugely relevant but yes people do. It’s like Facebook used to be, the default thing for many and hard to move people off.

      I mean for the purposes of things like this the idea is probably that the majority of the people in question have a discord and it isn’t connected to company identities directly.

      This sort of infiltration could have happened on signal, telegram, slack, IRC, or skype.

    i would be interested in what level of access they had. a lot of these types of chats are to get info out quickly share news and memes, and not where you discuss plans or reflect on how things went. its expected moles will be their even if you try to keep them out so you do opsec by limiting the information getting out.
