I really enjoyed S3 but I’d not call it Emmy worthy.
While I did enjoy the finally of Picard. I do not believe it was award winning. However, I didn’t watch the other shows, maybe they are on the same level.
There’s a lot of disagreement, of course, but I would rate Picard as the worst by far of the five recent shows. Even Prodigy pays better attention to its own past episodes. But the acting was indeed pretty good.
It will probably be another visual effects Emmy; perhaps another award for Michael Okuda with the redesigned, modernized LCARS system.
Everything else is a long shot. The storyline was a disaster, the acting was okay except for Patrick Stewart slurring through his lines but nobody stood out except for the Titan captain.
It absolutely deserves it. Season three was so good.
I’m not that particularly fond of it, but it’s watchable. Season two didn’t really grab me that much. However, I’ll be watching season three, maybe starting tonight.
I’m more looking forward to Strange New Worlds season two. Hurry up, 15th June!
