        The legal limit in the US in many places is 55mph. I’m too lazy to look up kilometers but that should give you an idea of the law breaking they are referencing.

          That’s not necessarily true. There are many places in the US with speed limits of 80 or even 85.

          No state in the US has set its maximum state wide speed below 60mph. For most states it’s 65, 70, 75 or 80.

          there are signs on the freeways for 55 but you aren’t actually supposed to do that (unless you’re posting online or you see a cop)
