I just started trying thunder for Android, was trying Jebora before it. Downloading/Installing the APK from GitHub was super easy.
I quite like the interface and it’s compact view, but you can’t sort by top (any of day/week/month/etc) and I haven’t figured out if you can use change the default sorting, but it’s quite nice for how early along in it’s development is.
Default is local/Hot, I’d like all/TopDay for now, blocking communities Im not interested in and subscribing to new ones that pique my interest.
I learned about thunder in this thread today, but i have troubles figuring the UI even for basic things.
For instance, how do you reply to a specific comment? (I can only see this icon in the lower right corner, but it does not look like it will do anything else than creating a first level comment!)
Got it. Replying is one of those swipe actions. Disturbingly unusual UI, although it could be quite usable in practice! (still missing other options such as editing or deleting posts… )
