Repotted it into a 5gal bucket because large pots are pricyyyy. This tree is about 5 years old and has made hundreds of props that inhabit friend’s houses around town.

Thank you! I water it every 6 weeks or so with rainwater, seems to love the chemistry.

I had mine outside over the summer and some squirrels starting chomping on the leaves 😑 it’s only about a year old but the majority of new growth has teeth marks.

I just have it a generous hair cut yesterday and stuck a ton of teeth free cuttings in the surrounding soil. Here’s hoping I can get one as pretty as yours!

Wow! Hard to imagine mine being that big but I suppose I’ll see in a couple years when it turns 5. 😊

Don’t be afraid to cut chunks out, pruning definitely helps the growth and silhouette of the bastards.

    Wow!

Mine is a single 3 inch crooked twig with 5 leaves on it, been like that for a couple years, it doesnt look particularly ill or anything, seems perfectly happy as it is, just doesnt want to grow.

I would say to give it more light, but that’s a complete guess on my part

You can wrap rope around the bucket to make it look nice on the cheap. Just takes rope and a little glue.

I thought about that, but I water from the bottom up and this sits nicely in my watering bucket.

At least 40lbs with the soil. It’s a bit top heavy now so I plan on transplanting it into a very low and wilde pot eventually.
