      Drone-based sky projections/light shows typically use hundreds or thousands of them. Good luck.

              You seem to think an EMP wouldn’t have tremendous collateral damage. It’s a nuke for electronics, indiscriminate in targets.

                Dude we’re going to be hard pressed to even get the range needed to take out part of the drone swarm, and you’re worried about collateral damage?

                  I guess you could launch a rocket with an EMP on it, to get it closer. And hopefully not take down a plane by accident? Yeah this idea is dumb.

          Someone could build an emp with a wave guide in their garage and just aim them at the drones

          Just look at online forums and youtubers who are in the DIY electronics space

          You could even make one from parts of a plasma globe
