I think Zuck’s argument that Meta and Apple are competing at different levels and use cases only makes sense when comparing the Meta Quest to the Vision Pro. Once Apple releases a cheaper mass market Vision (and they will release one eventually), all of his comparisons will become moot. A cheaper Apple Vision will be better than any of the Quest headsets.

Agree 100% I said straight after the announcement by Apple calling this headset Apple Vision “Pro” it allows for another headset simply called Apple Vision. Just like they have the Standard and Pro model variants of their iPhones. I do think Apple will have a tough time getting the price down though so it’s more appealing for the average consumer.

Don’t think there’s any company currently who can beat Apple’s presentations atm. Their marketing team have done a really good job showcasing a new product domain (which never launched lol) and even asked for an excruciating amount of money – they sold it good!

Meta’s now just like a kid crying in the corner because some bully stole their lollipop. This is the world of marketing, it’s hard, violent, some ruff battles here and there but in the end what matters is when you draw the line at end of year and you’re in profit :)
