None of the conservative influencers have ever held a job (that didn’t depend on being bankrolled by some conservative billionaire).

Yeah funny how one of the founding texts of modern gender theory (Stone Butch Blues) was written by a working class factory worker from buffalo, but a bunch of rich failed Los Angeles writers and actors want to act like they understand everyday Americans.

Leslie Feinberg (September 1, 1949 – November 15, 2014) was an American butch lesbian, transgender activist, communist, and author.

Yeah that tracks for factory work.

I love how the implication is that being a butch lesbian was her biggest accomplishment. Like it took years of study, a thesis, and a certification from the International Professional Butch Lesbian Council.

Which, I mean, that just sounds awesome. “Leslie Feinberg, IPBL”

After reading her Wikipedia article I’ve got to check out some of her writing. Seems cool as shit.

I’m 35 and recently figured out my own gender and got on hormones and I have been openly queer for over 20 years. For some of us, being ourselves is our biggest accomplishment.

That blurb reads like someone who was absolutely over everyone’s bullshit in every field she dipped her toes in to, which again, tracks for factory work.

Yeah it’s one of those things that it’s really funny how so many people who’ve never set foot in a factory wouldn’t understand.
