14 PM and my keyboard is still laggy af.
Are they planing on fixing the issue where apps will randomly freeze and notification sound volume is tied to media volume despite the settings? I hate having notifications be either silent or blast my ear drums because I happened to watch a video earlier. Nonsense.
The performance of my 1200€ phone is the same as a 200€ budget android.
This happens on safari with me so many times. Page will infinitely load or just freeze entirely on a page. Have to reset safari to get it acting normal again.
You would think with all the money Apple has now that things like software bugs and features that used to work and now don’t would be less frequent or quicker to fix. I have a list of annoying things like that. No one of them is catastrophic, but all of them make for a very annoying experience. So much for the “everything just works” mantra. It’s getting as bad as Windows now, and they don’t even have the excuse of having to support near infinite hardware/software build configurations.
Has anyone had issues with CarPlay new feature SharePlay? Parents and I have tried with her phone and mine but every time we get the prompt to accept using SharePlay, the name pops up for a few seconds and then drops and we have to start process over again
Im sick of all these updates! Every updates causes my battery to drain faster on iPads.
MacRumors was a day off, for the record…
Does anyone know if the shutdown during charging overnight is fixed yet? or if not, what causes it to happen?
So has Apple abandoned the Journal app? Or pushed that to an ever later version of iOS 17?
Has standby alarm being shut down (rather than snoozed) by pressing physical buttons been fixed yet? Or is it not even considered a bug?
Edit: after some testing looks like it’s still an issue, so that’s back to being disabled.
Ha. Haven’t had this happen to me since my phone is too far away to touch. I just yell at Siri to snooze it.
My weather complications on AW are still broken. I hope this can fix it.
But but things just worked with apple… weird
My Nike run complication just sits there with some hyphens instead of my run kms.
Damn, been having issues weather app and widget since day one on my AWU
It’s been like this since the very first Apple Watch. Nothing new.
Yeah, me too. I jumped over to Carrot and haven’t had anymore complication issues. You definitely get what you pay for, it’s got great complications.
Shit I didn’t realize this was a bug. I wiped my AW and didn’t restore from backup which is what fixed mine. Sucks I lost my watch faces I had setup but not a huge deal.
Did you toggle the 12/24 clock setting? That worked for me.
I believe this fixes that image retention issue. We’ll now get to know if it’s actually this or burn-ins.
I’m sure Android has had this feature forever, but I’m loving the automatic voicemail-to-text feature in iOS 17.
The default wallpaper is still buggy. It’s resource heavy and bogs down the phone while pulling down the shade. Not to mention it completely freezes if you toggle its depth effect. For total control of the hardware and software stack, this experience feels lacklustre.
All I want is for the phone to stop playing music from my old iTunes library at random occasions when plugged in or connected to new headphones.
I don’t have the files on the device. Apple Music isn’t installed. And turning off data access for it doesn’t help either.
It’s been years. I think we’ve all listened to A-Punk by Vampire Weekend enough. Definitely less frequent, though it did it again yesterday.
OMG, I thought it was just me. I love Vampire Weekend, but that strummy intro to A-Punk is getting REALLY old. I hope this fixes that. It’s so bad that I put Apple Music in my tray (or whatever the persistent app row on the bottom is called) just so I can quickly switch to LITERALLY ANYTHING else when A-Punk starts up again.
Still cant text a fucking calendar invite
