I have a brand new S9, and it can’t even do basic actions. Like Pause/Play music when I’m playing a song in spotify. Or tapping the Shazam button when I’m in the app Shazam and it’s asking ”Tap to Shazam”. And double tap is shaking it’s head like ”Nah, I wont perform this basic action for you”… A bit annoyed I guess because this feature was very overhyped.

For me it also useless, looks like AssistiveTouch is more advanced than DoubleTap which needed new “super Neural Engine” processor XD

Double tap isn’t on the workout app, it’s a shame bc it would be really useful to stop or pause the workout with it… I only use it for timer

For me it also useless, looks like AssistiveTouch is more advanced than DoubleTap which needed new “super Neural Engine” processor exclusive to newest watch meanwhile AssistiveTouch is available since AW 0 XD

It is useless. I suspect this “feature” is the most minimal implementation in order to collect data for more advanced features later on.
