With Sonoma, we get the ability to add Widgets to the desktop.
However, since I almost never see my own desktop, the widgets that I added there are mostly pointless.
So I’m curious, what it’s your desktop setup now, and are widgets any useful for your current workflow?
weather, calendar, power readout of all my gadgets, and some news items of interest to me. I use it about as I did notification center (ie rarely maybe once a day for a couple minutes) but its nice being able to lay all the info I want out across my screen vs having to scroll down the center
I don’t. And I disabled the “click desktop to view it” option.
Second that
Just switched to using a monitor, and now don’t need them at all. A lot of time wasted without a big screen, TBH. Should’ve gotten into it in the 90’s.
