People stay if there is enough content and the user experience doesn’t suck. So fare, more and more people try to engage and build new communities. Just try to add value. Also the UI and Apps improved quickly but its fare from perfect :-)
I am seeing a pattern of nonfederated social platforms closing their walls or degrading the user experience.
I’ve been off most major social platforms for 5 years, this week I am joining federated social sites to support them and hopeful push them along to get the attention and focus they need.
