not this exact model though it looks the same, visually. really useful to have portable storage wherever I need it.

Not to mention for moving the files of a steam game. But yeah, the old solid state storage NAND in them is probably “built different”, literally.

If you mean firmware, that’s gonna be tricky to update on drives that are straight up dead and no longer even detected.

USB mass storage drivers are an OS issue, one I don’t even think about as a linux user.
If you mean firmware, that’s gonna be tricky to update on drives that are straight up dead and no longer even detected.
