Genuine question: what’s the use of under display finger print reader? Let’s say you can reduce the costs by $100 if you have a fingerprint reader on the power button. Would you take it?

Yes I would take it, I like the idea of having multiple options for biometric authentication. I said under display because that is looking to be the future - you can see this in recent galaxy phones

I’d settle for an all-screen display and touchID on the power button, like that one iPad.

I’m really not a fan of the notch/Dynamic Island…though at least the latter actually does useful things.

        Opposite for me.

I don’t want to remove my gloves during the winter to pay using Apple Pay.

I actually like looking at the screen to unlock it to read notifications while not having to pick it up (particularly in work and also in Gym)

So for me, FaceId > All screen display

All screen display + FaceId >>>>> Dynamic Island.

If Apple can bring both faceId and All screen display then I’m sold.

More than that it needs the under display faceID/in the extreme corner somewhere instead of being an eyesore

Nothing pisses me off more than buying a Pro iPhone and then the best camera be in the Pro Max. I don’t want an iPad in my pocket. I refuse to believe Apple couldn’t put the exact same camera in the regular Pro if they wanted to and if you can’t put it in both, then bump it to the next year.
