      Oh wow that’s cool.

Choctaw is actually my tribe, so I’m really impressed they have this.

          Halito, friend!

I’ll be honest, I don’t know much Choctaw, but I’m proud to have the heritage.

Honestly that was 50% of the Choctaw I know from my late grandad. The other is pronounced ‘chimmy-chuck-mwah’, and means ‘how are you’ IIRC.

I really love seeing stuff like this. Like how they dubbed Prey in Comanche. My son is half Ute and it makes me happy for him to see representation on screen. I’m Korean American myself and even small things like this go a long way with inclusiveness to me.

Well, this looks very different from other Marvel stuff so far. Let’s hope they are committed to breaking their own molds and this doesn’t get Frankensteined by committee like Secret Invasion.

This looks great, makes me think some of the recent news about reworking the TV series was actually decided a while ago and it’s letting people know the next bit of content will be different?

I certainly hope so, but I’m not counting on it.

It’s being dumped in the January dumping ground, dumped all at once (a first for Disney), and is only five episodes.

With the summer writers strike and the current actors strike there probably wasn’t much they could do.

That being said five episodes means they’ve probably removed any of the filler, all at once means it’s basically a movie and in January means it has no competition/low expectations.

I do expect it to be better than what we’ve been getting, but I’ll be amazed if we get something great. I want something great, this looks great, but I’ll be happy enough with better.

It’s an immediate plot hole if he’s alive. He had absolutely no way to live through Hawkeye.

No body no death. That scene cuts to a wide shot of a muzzle flash and thats it. Also that trailer made it seem like at least the kingpin scene was a flashback to well before the events of hawkeye.

He shows supernatural strength and toughness in the Hawkeye series. He shrugged off a bomb to the face and a car and an arrow to the shoulder. He probably got something like the supersoldier serum in him now.

There used to be a saying about Marvel Comics: Nobody stays dead except Uncle Ben and Bucky. Then, they brought Bucky back to life.

That idea was actually taken from the comics. He survived after she shot him in the eye, and now he’s missing it.

Pretty much no one would be alive in the MCU if it operated on the same logical rules as ours does lol
