If you have an active Kern County Library card, you can use it to get audiobooks on your phone via the Libby and Hoopla apps. If you’re like me and enjoy audiobooks, but don’t want to pay for Audible, it’s a slam dunk. Sometimes there is a wait for a title on Libby, but it will let you know, if you place a hold, when it’s available. If you don’t want to wait, you can sort by “available now”.
