I have recently got a new job at my local council and am enrolled in a LGPS. Everyone tells me this is an amazing pension and someone even said financial advisers won’t even talk to you after finding out you’re in one because there’s no point. Can someone please explain all of this to me and tell me how I should make best use of it?
