My family has a trust fund setup in 1986. By my great grandparents. Who are long gone

At the time it was a very well funded with £100k in.

The beneficiaries were my nan and my mom and aunt. My nan is in her 80s, both daughters are in 60s and own outright property.

The only way to take out a lump sum was for a house purchase. In the 90s £30k was taken out to use for a deposit for my auntie and mom to purchase a house.

Since then it was un-touched. The value is now circa 40k.

The company who manage it are each year charging around 1.3-1.8k to manage it (they’ve just upped it) and they give back approx £300-600 in dividends.

Currently they will not allow us to remove all the funds, or make changes to it.

Is there anything we can do to get access to it, manage it ourselves (IE put it in an ETF or into a high interest account) or withdraw all the funds and use it for what it is now needed for.

Thanks in advance.
