Can’t even get 12 hours on S7 45mm cellular. No phone calls, no texting through it. Just notifications. Taken off the charger at 5:00am and at 2:38pm it tells me 10% battery remaining.
Bummer to hear some people are still having issues. I took mine off the charger 8:15PM last night at full battery and I’m at 61% 13 hours later. Light use.
Another S7 owner, I took mine off charge nearly 37 hours ago, currently at 31%
Do you happen to have playlists enabled? I have gone through everything and narrowed the issue down, at least for me, to the playlists on my watch. The moment I remove them I get normal battery life.
I am still having issues with 10.1.1 with my playlists.
My watch does seem to be better since installing 10.1.1. I’d consider trying a simple power off/power on of the watch just to see if that helps. In the past when I’ve had unexplained high battery drain (rare, though 10.0 through 10.1 were definitely draining faster than usual), restarting always fixed it.
He iOS Karens are worse than before.
This is my Series 7, GPS after 13 hours of usage including a 5k run. My battery health is 81%. Honestly 10.1.1 is the best battery life I have ever had on my Apple Watch.
Ok what am I doing wrong. Do you guys keep the WiFi turned on while you aren’t in a WiFi zone? I have read elsewhere that if you turn it off you are depending upon the cellular connection more then on your phone.
How much reindexing does this stupid watch need to do? like seriously I’m getting worse battery life in OS 10.1.1 than 10.1 on my first gen SE with 84% battery health. Crazy to think this is supposed to be the patch that solved any battery issues. I could go for a full day with one workout and sleep tracking on OS 9 just a couple of months ago, I could even sustain that use case on OS 10.0 betas, but ever since the final release it’s been dreadful.
I’m having this issue too on my Ultra 2.
