Context: I am 34/m, live alone and rent. I make 75,000 p/y and have next to no financial literacy. I’ve been terrible with money my entire life (hence income and still renting) and would like to make this lump sum work for me.

Right now I’m torn. Could I invest and see if it could grow over the next 3/4 years or would a saving account of some description be more worthwhile? I honestly have no clue about all the different accounts….speak to my like I am five, please 😅
